Donor Privacy Policy

When we introduce donations, we commit to the following principles:

• we will never sell, rent or trade donor personal data
• donor data will be used only to process your gift, issue a receipt or acknowledgement, and maintain accurate financial records
• we will only send you communications about our work if you have opted in to receive them
• you will be able to give anonymously where our chosen payment provider supports it
• you can ask us to correct your details or stop contacting you at any time

We do not intend to store your card or payment details ourselves. Donations will be processed through a reputable, PCI-compliant third-party payment provider, whose own privacy and security terms will apply to the payment itself.

Once donations are live, we expect to use donor data to:

• process and confirm your donation
• provide a receipt or, where applicable, Gift Aid documentation
• maintain financial and regulatory records
• report to donors on the specific project their gift supported, where relevant

Once donations are live, donor data will also be covered by our general Privacy Policy, including your rights to access, correct or request deletion of your data, subject to our obligations to keep financial records.

We will publish a fuller, donation-specific version of this policy, including details of our payment provider, before donations go live on this website.
